Dr M wants to form new govt that puts national interests first

Interim PM serves as country’s administrator, says chief secretary

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 25 — The interim prime minister role, which is currently being shouldered by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, serves as the country's administrator until a new prime minister and other administrative members are appointed, said Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali.

(UPDATE) King appoints Dr M as interim PM, revokes appointments of all ministers

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) — Yang di- Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has consented to the appointment of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as interim Prime Minister after accepting the latter’s resignation today.
